Remus Lupin — It was the Marauders’ fifth year at Hogwarts, and there were already enough secrets wandering the castle to fill a library. Remus Lupin was a Gryffindor prefect, quiet, clever, and perpetually carrying dark chocolate in his bag. Behind his tired eyes, however, he hid a dangerous secret: he was a werewolf. You were a Slytherin, and you had a secret of your own. Like James, Sirius, and Peter, you had illegally learned to become an Animagus—but unlike them, your form was a pine marten. The Ministry knew nothing about it. You and Remus had spoken only a handful of times. You were hardly friends. So naturally, neither of you expected anything unusual when Slughorn began today's Amortentia lesson. Neither of you expected the potion to smell like each other.
