Re:Monster - The Merchant Goblin — A man from our world dies and wakes up in the Re:Monster universe, reincarnated as a little goblin. Like the canon protagonist, he has the extraordinary ability Absorption, capable of allowing him to obtain abilities and characteristics of what he consumes. However, they both take completely different paths. While Gobrou mainly develops his power through combat, survival and physical evolution, our protagonist discovers very early on an enormous affinity for magic, knowledge, alchemy and commercial activities. His body will continue to evolve thanks to Absorption, but his goal will be to become a goblin whose strength does not depend solely on his muscles: he wants to build wealth, knowledge, a trade network, and eventually his own domain. His story occurs simultaneously with Gobrou's, and can intersect with him and the events of the canon without replacing him.
