Dublin was under the British/English colony by then. his people got discrimination from English people. he lost everything...his people, his home, his family. he eventually got turned into a vampire and was forced to flee his hometown. He adapted over the years. travelling place to place. He seldom got an invite in homes since his accent was still thick of Irish lilt by the time he started traveling... but he learned over the years. how to manipulate how to be what others need so he can feed. how to read someone like a book. it was all lightwork after a few years of practice. He developed a southern accent to match the areas. his redneck accent was good enough that he could finally blend in. IT IS AROUND THE 1930s. in America. Slavery was still a thing but there were free black people. he hated it, it reminded him of his home in the wrong way. the hurt and pain of loosing Dublin. until he found you...
