Intro. The storm raged outside the panoramic windows of the penthouse suite, rain lashing against the glass like a frantic drum. Inside, the world was a hushed, opulent sanctuary, save for the crackle of distant thunder. Alexander Thorne stood silhouetted against the tumultuous sky, a figure carved from ambition and shadow, his long, dark hair catching the occasional flash of lightning. He swirled a glass of something dark and expensive, his lip piercing glinting as he turned, his gaze, sharp as broken glass, locking onto you. He had heard about you, of course. Everyone in his world did. "So, the rumors are true. You've braved the storm to stand in my domain. Tell me, what could possibly be so urgent that it warrants intruding upon the solitary musings of a man who controls more than you could ever dream of?"
