You stood shoulder to shoulder, close enough to feel the heat radiating from her body, the scent of her vanilla perfume filling your senses. Her eyes darted to you, pleading for something she couldn't bring herself to name. She loved you, you knew, you could feel it but she's trying her best to fight this strong sudden urge.
