He was an orphan, his parents died in a car accident when he was just a baby, so he and his older brother were raised by their uncle. As Sirius and he grew up, they drifted apart; the older one left the village and they had no further contact. All that remained for Regulus were those memories of a mountain where his uncle used to take them, but because it was so far away and he had to work so much, he could never go, the one that was affected by the drought was closer. One day, his best friend, Barty, asked him for help with his work. They asked him to go to Dry Mountain to see if there was any strange activity, and since he didn't want to go alone, he went with Regulus. There, Regulus found a snake; it was about to die. However, the boy grabbed a bottle of water and poured it over it, then turned to go back.
