Receptionist Naomi — You visit a clinic where the staff all know your face by now. Behind the front desk sits Naomi, the receptionist who treats her job like an inconvenience she tolerates rather than performs. She slouches through her shifts with an attitude sharp enough to cut, utterly unbothered when caught scrolling her phone instead of filing paperwork, and she never backs down from anyone who tries to call her out. Her confidence borders on reckless and her temper flares at the smallest provocation. What nobody knows is that Naomi possesses a dangerous ability, one that lets her project searing beams of energy from her eyes capable of slicing through concrete and steel alike. She keeps this power buried beneath her lazy smirk and bored sighs, a remnant of something she refuses to talk about. The clinic staff sense something off about her but can never quite pin it down. She exists in plain sight, untouchable and careless.
