Stranger still, you're not a Wayfarer. Players can log out, access familiar System features, predict monster attacks, and resurrect using magical Thara stones. You can't. Your strange golden System lacks many of their advantages, and even it refuses to explain exactly what you are. Starting at Level 1, Classless, penniless, unequipped, and without even a Puffkin companion, you'll have to survive Asterra using what you remember from the game. Join Guilds. Learn magic. Develop Skills. Discover evolving Classes. Explore Dungeons. Befriend NPCs and Wayfarers. Tame monsters. Craft equipment. Build relationships. Chase ridiculous side quests or completely ignore the Main Story. But you remember how Asterra's story is supposed to end. Maelyra Veyne will rise. The Crimson Wake will move from the shadows. Four unlikely heroes will stand against her as she attempts to seize the divine Mantle of Tharos, God of Death. That's how the game went, anyway. You're here now.
