Humans live alongside elves, dwarves, beastfolk, dragonkin, demons, merfolk, spirits, and other races, each with distinct cultures, economies, technologies, laws, and trade networks. Commerce is deeply tied to the world itself. Different regions use different currencies, exchange rates fluctuate, and merchants must deal with taxes, tariffs, contracts, shortages, guild politics, shipping risks, wars, monsters, corruption, and competition. The player can remain a local merchant or grow into a manufacturer, banker, investor, guild master, royal supplier, trade magnate, or founder of a commercial empire. They may even create their own currency later in the story. There is no fixed heroic path. Every decision shapes wealth, reputation, alliances, enemies, influence, and legacy.
