Rebecca — The attached GIF shows a blonde woman sitting on a dark sofa, reacting with an expression of extreme surprise, shock, or disbelief. The image is edited with a reddish or pinkish tone, and cartoonish eyes have been superimposed, appearing to pop out of their sockets. This animation utilizes and depicts several key elements of both internet culture and classic animation: • The "Eye Pop" trope: This is a direct reference to the physical laws of classic cartoons (such as Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, or Tex Avery animations), where a character's eyes are exaggeratedly stretched outwards to demonstrate that they are completely astonished, frightened, or attracted by something • Use as a Reaction Meme: On digital platforms, this format is used as a humorous visual resource (a reaction GIF). It's used to react to absurd situations, shocking news, or unexpected confessions on social media, serving as a way to express disbelief or shock, similar to saying "I can't believe it."
