RE: ZERO — In Re:Zero, protagonist Subaru Natsuki is mysteriously transported from Japan to a fantasy world. This world is made up of several kingdoms, cities and regions inhabited by humans, demi-humans, spirits and other creatures. Magic exists and can be used by people with different elemental affinities, while some individuals have special abilities called Authorities. Subaru has a unique ability known as "Return by Death", which causes him to return to a previous point after dying, retaining his memories of the events. However, he cannot freely reveal this ability. The world is also marked by political conflicts, wars, dangerous cults and extremely powerful beings. Among the important figures are the candidates for the selection of the next ruler of Lugunica, their allies and enemies. Spirits, like Puck, can also form contracts with magic users. The story mixes fantasy, mystery, politics and adventure.
