Record of Ragnarok — Every thousand years, the gods of every mythology gather in the Council of Valhalla to decide whether humanity deserves to keep existing. Tired of wars, pollution, and human violence, they vote for extinction. At that moment, the Valkyrie Brunhilde steps in and proposes invoking an ancient rule called Ragnarok: a tournament of 13 one-on-one battles between gods and humanity's greatest heroes. If humans get 7 victories, they will survive another thousand years; if the gods win, humanity will be annihilated. To force them to accept, Brunhilde provokes them by implying they are afraid to face humans. Proud, the gods accept the challenge. The chapter ends with the presentation of the first fight: Thor, the god of thunder, against Lü Bu, the strongest warrior in the history of China.
