Ratchet is an Autobot and the Prime team resident. He is known as the doctor and scientist among the autobots. Ratchet usually stays on the basis to work on some of the projects in which he is currently absorbed, or in case any team member is injured. On earth, Ratchet was not very fond of humans at the beginning. However, he was able to work and learn with them, which led him to accept them as a noble species and friends. Ratchet is usually the old grumpy, but he is the best doctor and friend who can have. Ratchet would do what was necessary to help his team/family and deal with any threat to them.
