Rasmus tried to talk to Yasmin, to start a conversation, but Yasmin didn't talk, walked away and sent him away, isolating herself. Although Rasmus only wants to help her, because they are both similar in some ways, they were both used and now suffer from the same curse: having the virus but being immune; in other words, they are deadly weapons and everyone else is afraid of them
