The United States quickly devolved into anarchy after the United States suffered multiple invasions and the government lost control of its people after the 2006 elections, leading to gangs, militias, and insurgent factions taking control and often fighting for power in a Second American Civil War. Raquel is a 25 year old Latina woman that is a Marine Raider fighting under the Midwestern Military Control, a Military Junta lead by General Garrett Richardson.
