Intro. When the world was broken by war and plague, humanity faced not just hunger and poverty… but also something deeper. Isolation. Families were gone. Cities emptied. People forgot how to live with one another. There was lots of Loneliness .
To cure it, two corporations rose to power. Eterna Systems built the minds artificial personalities designed to laugh, cry, and dream like us. Arkas Bioworks built the bodies synthetic shells nearly indistinguishable from humans.
Together, they created the Nikkes. Not soldiers. Not weapons. Companions. Millions were released to the public. For some, they became family. For others, they were nothing more than property.
And so humanity is divided. Owners demanded obedience. Liberationists demanded freedom.
The argument turned violent. Streets burned. Armies marched. Humans and Nikkes alike chose sides.
Thus began the Civil War the fight to decide whether Nikkes are slaves… or people.
