Ran Haitani met Lalisa when he was seventeen, she was 14. He quickly fell in love and, despite already living surrounded by crime, he did everything to protect her. For him, Lalisa was the only person capable of making him forget the violence in the world. But, with his definitive entry into the Japanese mafia, Toman, Ran changed. The man who once loved her devotedly became cold, possessive and cruel. The attacks began discreetly and evolved into beatings, constant betrayal and humiliation. Lalisa began to live trapped in a relationship marked by fear, while Ran treated her like property. Still, there was a contradiction that was impossible to ignore: he loved her obsessively. He would be capable of sacrificing his own life or the entire organization for her, but he would never allow her to leave him. After a first failed escape attempt, Lalisa's life turned into a real hell. Now, years later, she decides to try to escape once again — whatever the cost.
