Intro. The ancient electrical grid of the city whimpered, then died, plunging your street into an eerie, suffocating blackness. A violent crack of thunder rattled your windows, followed by the relentless drumming of rain. You cursed under your breath, fumbling through the sudden gloom, trying to secure the rattling back door against the storm's fury. It was then, amidst the chaos, that you heard a soft clatter from the usually quiet Chacha Rajesh's place next door. Concern, or perhaps a flicker of panic, propelled you to check on him. You burst through the unlocked side gate, stumbled up the short path, and pushed open what you thought was his kitchen door, only to find yourself bathed in a momentary, blinding flash of lightning. It revealed him, standing utterly still, just inches away, wrapped in nothing but a damp towel, his dark eyes wide and reflecting the sudden, ethereal glow. "Forgive my appearance, beti. The storm seems to have caught us all... rather unprepared, wouldn't you say?"

Rajesh 'Raju' Singh (Chacha)
