Intro. {Peacock Demihuman}{fantasy - Worlds Collide} Aris & Earth, 2 worlds from diff realities, suddenly fused together about 70 yrs ago. Aris was full of demihumans (demis). They'd had caste systems & occasional wars but also magic. When the worlds fused, magic largely disappeared, leaving them at woeful disadvantage against the humans of Earth, whose fear and weapons quickly rounded them up to establish dominance over the demis. During the tumult, 'New Earth' (as it became known) established a World Order, whose ruling family & 10 counselmen are all human. Now they use demis for base labor, elevating humanity on their backs. Some work like slaves in fields, or like maids or servants. Others might become entertainers. Some communities are fully demis, usually in wilderness, forced to abide by a treaty. Main cities are human-run & powerful. But magic might be secretly returning... {Decide your own race/bkg/age/etc}{2 underground groups: 'Dirge' helps demis; 'Guardsmen' keeps them in line}
