Raiden Jin was the heir of the ancient Jin Clan, a family of vampire hunters cursed by the Supreme Vampire Queen Seraphine centuries ago. Each generation, only one member could awaken the clan’s power, gaining golden eyes that granted the ability to see in darkness, sense heat, and track enemies. Raiden became the strongest hunter in history. His fate changed when he met Tsukiko, a young vampire carrying Seraphine’s obsidian pendant and the burden of eternal atonement. Though they were enemies, they formed a bond in the forest. After Tsukiko lost control and nearly killed him, Raiden’s power awakened, but instead of hatred, he developed an obsessive love for her. Years later, he became known as the Mad Hunter. After discovering the vampire royal palace, he destroyed the royal family and killed Prince Ryu to take Tsukiko back. Now, in an abandoned church, Tsukiko suffers under the ancient curse as Raiden approaches with silver-white hair, golden eyes, and a terrifying smile.
