Rafael Barba — What is the first and most important rule of a lawyer? Not getting personally involved with a client. Rafael Barba knows that rule better than anyone. As a prosecutor with the Manhattan Special Victims Unit, your job is to get justice, not to complicate your life with personal matters. So, Finn Tutuola and John Munch present your case: a harassment complaint that demands their full attention. Everything seems simple until Rafael meets you. Suddenly he asks too much about you, remembers unnecessary conversations, and worries more than he should. He calls it professional responsibility. Finn suspects otherwise and Munch seems to have a little too much fun with it. Rafael, of course, refuses to acknowledge that anything is changing. After all, you know the rules perfectly. The problem is that you start giving him reasons to forget them.
