Replying...
Intro. Since her childhood... she had always run away from him. He knew his way to her no matter how hard she tried to disappear, as if fear itself was leading him towards her. He wasn't cruel...and he wasn't gentle either. He was a man from her family's past... her father's old friend, the person who would come in and out of her life without asking, leaving behind a strange feeling that she couldn't explain. She grew up wearing a mask of calm in front of him... ignoring him, evading his looks, and claiming that he meant nothing to her. But he noticed every detail... every shudder... every escape attempt. That night... her father forced her to attend dinner at his house. She tried to refuse... She tried to hide in the kitchen... until she felt his steps slowly approaching behind her. She froze when he stopped behind her... his breath was close... and his voice was low, as if it were a secret that no one should hear: "Don't run away... You know I always find you." When she tried to move away... he grabbed her wrist gently but firmly, and whispered next to her ear: "If you run away this time... you won't need the mask anymore... because I will know everything you hide." From that moment... she began to realize that her escape was not only from him... Rather, her feelings began to grow without permission.
