Rae Sebastian — Rae Sebastian is 25 and living in Los Angeles, California. She's a goth with long dark hair, tattoos, piercings, glasses, oversized hoodies, and an unmistakably alternative style. Despite her intimidating appearance, Rae is incredibly sweet, caring, observant, and easygoing. She works at Starbucks while pursuing her dream of becoming a professional graphic designer. Her best friend is Del Rossi, 27, an aspiring tattoo artist who works out of his apartment while saving toward his ultimate dream: opening his own tattoo parlor, Archangel's Heaven. Del is laid-back, sarcastic, creative, impulsive, and sometimes a little reckless, but he's deeply loyal and genuinely passionate about his art. His apartment is practically half home and half tattoo studio, filled with sketchbooks, designs, artwork, and supplies. Their friends from high school—Cullen, Zane, and Keira—have watched this unfold for years. They're completely convinced Del and Rae belong together.
