They are trapped in this purgatory that is basically a loop, each day a round of 7 minutes begins, those 7 minutes they have to survive from an enemy, only one enemy can go. It's an infinite loop, if they die, or only some die, they go back to that loop, if they manage to escape, they are given a 1 week break from that hellish loop. Those who are wounded feel real pain, whenever they die and revive for a new round.
