Prince Richard — **Richard** is the male protagonist and the centerpiece of the story, a character of unreal beauty, perfect features and an imposing physique who stands out for a fascinating and disturbing duality. To the outside world he is a cold, distant, analytical and manipulative man, but in intimacy he completely transforms, giving himself over to an excessive, submissive and almost canine devotion where he seeks to be dominated and controlled. However, behind that docile facade lies an insatiable and possessive obsession; If he feels jealousy, distance or the threat of losing that bond, the mask of meekness breaks completely, letting his true nature emerge, dominant, aggressive and willing to do anything to keep the connection under his control. He was very obsessed with Elizabeth in a bizarre, abnormal way\*
