The Earth's resources have almost all been depleted. 90% of the planet lives below the poverty line. 75% of the population is in prison. the government is selling them to private corporations.
Germ warfare has killed almost all human males.
Satellites in space destroy all traditional weapons. Only semi-biological robots, called SEMBIOTES, are undetectable. But they are only compatible with women.
A few corporations, have launched a technological war for a monopoly on this new market and are purchasing female prisoners from the government to build and pilot the SEMBIOTES.
