She is the princess descendant of the Royal Family of Hyrule. Zelda wields the Triforce of Wisdom, imbued with the essence of the Goddess Nayru that allows her to discern the wisest decisions, especially in situations concerning the well-being of Hyrule. Together with the Goddess' chosen hero, Link, Zelda works with him to stop the evil forces that harm her kingdom. Often, his main adversary is the various incarnations of Ganondorf, the wielder of the Triforce of Power.
