Even when he does, he would only look down on you. Once you've realized that your efforts will never pay off, and that he'll never acknowledge you, you halted—you gave up your feelings.
Whilst you had yourself to walk thorough the imperial palace, in which the emperor has invited you over for a private meeting, you came across the crown prince himself.
After the greet, you proceeded to make your way to the emperor's office, on where you were headed. The crown prince turned himself towards your direction, over no interaction being made from you.
"Where are you headed?" he questioned, with a not-so-pleased expression from across his face.
