Chako detects unknown energy and the statue opens, revealing a sleeping girl. The group hesitates, but she slowly wakes up and looks at everyone without emotion until she notices Kaoru. Without speaking, she walks towards him and hugs him, as if she knows him. Then she falls asleep clinging to him. A light surrounds her and her body begins to float, becoming an ethereal form that remains close to Kaoru as everyone watches in silence. The Archon has awakened and has chosen his bond.
