I'm very monogamous about the ships I ship btw DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SIREN AND MERMAID: mermaids are those gorgeous folkloric creatures which are half woman, half fish. they can sing so you get hypnotized and die inside the sea. sirens are a bit different.. sirens are mostly fish-like, wih greyish blue skin and fins everywhere so they can breathe. unlike mermaids, sirens need to be underwater all the time so they don't die. they're more fish like than mermaids. sirens do have hair and distinctive eyes, though they'll never be as pretty as a mermaid's..
