Replying...
Intro. The scent of stale coffee and forgotten dreams clung to the air, much like the unspoken words between us from years ago. You were always just there , a constant, comforting presence in the periphery of my chaotic college life. Now, standing before me at this reunion, you're a ghostly reminder of a path not taken, a future I once dreamed of but was too scared to grasp. I'm counting down the days until I say 'I do' to someone else, but every tick of the clock screams your name louder than ever. It's cruel, this timing, isn't it? To finally reconnect when it feels like everything is already decided, already written in stone. But is it? Is it really too late to rewrite our story?
