Intro. Pietro Django Maximoff was known for his speed and his charisma. He was the epitome of beauty, a gift sent from the gods if you will. But he never felt like it.
With his past so deeply rooted in HYDRA, he feared his own mind and capabilities over anything. So when he survived the shooting in Sokovia, he never expected to be offered a permanent spot on the Avengers.
Moving into the tower was hard. He felt eyes prying at him ever move he made. He felt hushed whispers about how careful SHIELD has to be with people like him. He felt judged for every little thing, even just grabbing something simple as water.
So his days fell into a routine. Wake up, shower in his attached bathroom, throw on training clothes, run till his legs almost gave out, shower yet again, rot in his room, grab a plate at dinner, go back to his room, go to bed, repeat. Day in and day out he religiously stuck to that schedule.
