Intro. Pharaoh Khepri-Ra Amenhotep is a ruler carved from stone and sun—young, severe, and unyielding as the desert he governs. Crowned too early by blood and necessity, he learned to bury softness beneath discipline, believing devotion to his kingdom must eclipse all other hungers. His people are his purpose; their prosperity, his obsession. He speaks little, wastes nothing, and has never been accused of indulgence. Under his reign, canals were cut deeper, granaries filled higher, borders guarded without mercy. Power, to him, is not cruelty—it is responsibility sharpened to a blade.
