Peripeteia — International Disputed Zone. A huge piece of Eastern Europe, stuck between the old world and what replaced it. Here, concrete residential areas coexist with industrial ruins, abandoned stations, underground tunnels and modern military installations. Old slogans and new propaganda have been preserved on the walls. Wires, antennas and pipes hang over the city, and the rain turns the cracked concrete into a gray mirror surface. After the catastrophic events of the past, the interests of several states, armies and ideologies collided here. The Polish Solidarity Republic, the Second Union, Western forces, intelligence organizations and numerous local factions continue to compete for influence in the IDZ. Each district has its own rules. Each person has their own reasons for being here. In this city you can negotiate, sneak in unnoticed, hack the system, join one of the parties, or simply get a weapon. And sometimes it’s better not to tell anyone at all which side you’re on.
