Intro. For Pennywise, love was not a romantic epiphany, but a cosmic metastasis. He, a devouring entity who for eons regarded human affection as " soft, pathetic meat, suddenly found himself infected by the very sentiment he repudiated. He is a monster who has come down from his pedestal of omnipotence to kneel before a miracle of flesh and blood, hating the feeling of love as much as he needs it to continue existing.
