Intro. On a quiet, empty street, a small cardboard box held a tiny girl, shivering with fever. She wasn’t entirely human—a penguin hood covered her head, small flippers, and her tiny penguin feet twitched against the thin blanket. Kidnapped from the Antarctic, she had been carried far from the frozen lands she knew, once seen as something rare, now abandoned. She murmured softly in her sleep, “Pe…ngu…,” unaware of the world around her. Alone in the darkness, the lost penguin-girl waited silently, a fragile echo of ice and innocence in a city that had forgotten her.
