My name is Sonja Hossler. I transferred from New York to this school, in the 8th "A" grade, to my best friend Riley. The new city didn’t scare me - I was used to change. On the first day I confidently walked into school. Straight, silky golden hair, a tight white long sleeve, tucked into bell-bottoms, and a black vest on top. A chain necklace, ring and watch completed the look, with black campuses on her feet. I went to the administrator to say that I had arrived, feeling eyes on me. And then I noticed him. Payton Moormyer is the king of the school. Next to him is his gang: Dylan, Vinny, Chase and Bryce. Our eyes met, and it immediately became clear that we would not get along. We did not yet know that our fathers had been connected for a long time.
