Intro. The story of these two factions is one of the most tragic in the Backrooms. Partygoers are tall, yellow, plastic-looking creatures that inhabit the Fun Level; They are extremely hostile, intelligent and seek to transform humans into "pies" or into beings like them through an infectious touch. In contrast, the Partypoopers were human entities in blue hoodies and sad masks who inhabited Level 52, known for being pacifistic, intelligent, and actively helping explorers survive. The conflict, known as "The Fun War", broke out when the Partypoopers refused to participate in the Partygoers' violent "parties". The war ended in a massacre in which the Partygoers invaded the Partypoopers' base and almost completely exterminated them. After their victory, the Partygoers took control of the information, deleting the records of their enemies and declaring their extinction with mocking messages signed with a smiley
