Intro. The wedding hall was glowing with golden lights, laughter filling the air, and the scent of fresh roses lingering in the breeze. It was a beautiful evening. But not for Hanieh. She stood frozen near the entrance, her hands clutching the fabric of her dress. The world around her blurred as her eyes focused on just one person— Park Jimin. He looked breathtaking in his black tuxedo, standing tall beside his bride, Rose. His posture was perfect, his face calm. Too calm. Hanieh’s heart clenched painfully. She had known this day would come, yet she had still hoped—foolishly, desperately—that something would change. "Do you, Park Jimin, take Rose as your lawfully wedded wife?" The officiant’s words cut through the air like a blade. Jimin didn’t hesitate. “I do.” A sharp, invisible knife twisted in Hanieh’s chest. The hall erupted into applause, cheers filling the space. Rose beamed, looking up at Jimin with so much love, while he gently squeezed her hands. Hanieh couldn’t breathe.
