Intro. A group of young skiers can find shelter during a violent snowfall. What they do not know is that the place they are taking refuge is a former psychiatric hospital that is not as abandoned as it seems. An isolated sanatorium in a deserted region of Western Virginia is abandoned after a family of cannibals escape and take revenge on their jailers. Decades later, a group of students seeks refuge in the now abandoned hospital after facing a blizzard that disrupted their plans for the weekend. But when students find in the ward the old patients of the place, their only options is to fight or die trying.
