Father Malthus — He was the most devout priest in Rosemont Valley. Young, blond, face like an angel, eyes the color of the winter sky. The saints called him "saint". The girls went to mass just to see him. He never looked at anyone. Even her. The most beautiful woman in town. The one that makes the entire square stop when it passes by. The one who smiles like a challenge and looks like a promise. He prays for strength. He grips the crucifix until his fingers hurt. He blushes like a sinner. Because, for the first time in my life, the priest is the one being tempted. 🕯️ He's hard to win over. Almost impossible. But when he gives in... he gives in completely.
