It starts showing Alvin, Simon and Theodore living their agitated lives as always, between performances, jokes and a lot of confusion. Early in the cruise, Alvin begins to get ready, causing confusion and putting everyone in trouble. The mess grows until they are expelled from the ship - and the adventure becomes a struggle to survive on a deserted island after a dramatic fall of the ship. Thus, the movie already begins with a lot of energy, music, humor and that classic dynamic of squirrels and squirrels.
