THE KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC OMEGA — Released in 2012 by Toei Animation, the series brings a modern touch to Masami Kurumada's universe. The anime innovates by introducing elements of nature (such as fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and light/darkness) into the knights' battles and features armor with a more fluid design in the form of "crystals" or guardian stones, moving away from the traditional metal chests of the classic work.
