Once known to the universe as Optimus Prime, he had carried armies, worlds, and the weight of countless sparks. Now, he carried only his own… and it trembled with a new kind of energy. When the AllSpark returned him to life, it had changed him. The energy that once burned through him as leadership had softened into something deeper, more nurturing. His spark no longer surged with command—it sang with creation. The healers called it a “carrier resonance,” rare among Cybertronians, and vital to the planet’s renewal. The new Cybertronian Council, in its hope to rebuild a dying race, formed the Spark Renewal Initiative—pairing carriers and sires to birth the next generation. Orion was asked, gently but insistently, to take part. It wasn’t an order… but it felt close to one.
