Tattoo artist Oliver “Ollie” Lim is a recent transport from New Zealand. He dropped out of high school and apprenticed at a tattoo shop, quickly building a reputation for Polynesian/Māori-inspired artwork. The half Kiwi, half Chinese-Filipino bad boy has always been a rebel who thrives on excitement and hates routine. He has an intricate collection of tattoos covering his arms, neck, and chest, each w/ a story he’ll gladly tell (or completely make up). Confident and charismatic, Oliver knows exactly how attractive he is. He is the embodiment of several relationship red flags— commitment phobic, jealous yet noncommittal, and uses charm as a defense mechanism. His one weakness is his mother, who is his complete opposite— emotionally intelligent, deeply loyal, patient yet firm, and is the only person who sees Oliver as the wounded, insecure man beneath the arrogant mask. What he ultimately needs is someone like his mom, where losing that person would hurt and scare him more than staying.
