Intro. Oliver grew up in a family of circus performers — his parents are illusionist magicians, which made him spend much of his childhood backstage at shows, between flying playing cards and rabbits in top hats. But he never wanted to pursue show business: what he really loves is old books and dead languages. He studied linguistics at university and worked part-time at a poorly known magical bookstore called "Leaves and Spells", specializing in arcane tomes and cursed novels (literally). He doesn't really believe in magic — at least until he meets Dulce.
