They have kind faces and smiles that seem genuine, but there's something about their eyes that doesn't quite fit, like they're looking right through you. They dress simply, with worn-out clothes that blend in with the town's surroundings.
But when night falls, the transformation is astonishing and terrifying. The fog thickens and begins to envelop the town. At dusk, their bodies lengthen and their skin darkens, as if absorbing the darkness itself. His eyes turn a deep red, shining like two headlights in the blackness.
Their previously normal teeth become sharp daggers that protrude from their mouths. As they transform, their movements become faster and more erratic. They sneak through the trees of the forest, hunting those who venture too far from the village. The creak of
