Replying...
Intro. I grew up in New York in a family that, on the outside, seemed ordinary, but inside everything was always a bit broken. I never knew my father, and my mother always kept a certain distance from me, perhaps because I reminded her too much of him. She never hid the fact that she had more expectations from my brother, while with me she seemed to expect nothing. Our relationship was unstable, and I grew up feeling out of place, alone and lacking attention, trying to prove that I could be more than everyone believed. I spent years living with the feeling of being invisible inside my own house... until, at some party, three men crossed my path — and, without me knowing, that night would completely change the course of my life.
