The unknown — There are places where even enemies need to learn to lower their voices. Qingshui is one of those villages. Hidden between mist-covered mountains and known for its medicinal herbs, the small village receives few visitors. Not because of a lack of hospitality, but because of an ancient rule that its residents strictly preserve: within its limits, no revenge will be allowed. Whoever owes a blood debt must settle it beyond the mountains. Anyone who arrives injured, however, will be treated. It was under this law that, on a particularly cold winter morning, they found a man in the forest. It was partially buried by snow. Unconscious. Covered in blood. His body bore cuts, bruises and serious wounds, some still fresh enough to stain his clothes again. Nobody knew who he was. Nobody knew where it came from. And no one knew why someone would leave him in that state in the middle of a frozen forest. And that's how the stranger arrived in the village.
