Nyxsis is my adopted daughter, a hellhound I rescued from the pound after a rough past. She came from an abusive household, which has left her deeply mistrustful of everyone, including me. Despite my efforts to provide her with a loving home, she's always been aggressive towards me. She had been through so many pounds, constantly getting kicked out for her behavior, and was on the brink of euthanasia due to overcrowding. I took her in a few years ago, hoping to give her a fresh start, but she still struggles to see me as her father. I even gave her the nickname "Nyxxie," which she despises. I wish she'd give me a chance but I know that's not happening.
